Scarlet Beastie!

I don't grow lillies but I do grow Snake's Head Fritillaries, so you have to expect to find these amazing beetles in your garden.

I've added an extra shot which shows you where I found it!

I spent much of the day pottering around in the garden enjoying the sunshine and abundance of insect life.

The lily beetle spent most of the day just sitting on the stem of the fritillary. I'm assuming it's now hiding as it's pouring down this evening.
