Eye to Eye

Dubrovnik: Day 1

An early start this morning saw us arrive in Dubrovnik at 9:30am local time.  Croatia is an hour ahead of the UK, so it really was an early start.  Cathy and I are away on holiday with Mark (Incredibish) and my sister (his wife) Janet.

Despite the BBC's worst predictions about the weather, it has been a lovely day today.  Dubrovnik is as lovely as the guide books say.  At some stage I will manage to take some decent photos to demonstrate this ....

In the meantime here is a shot of tattoed lady and a parrot.  Standard street fare for this walled city.  It was definitely a live parrot, but it still had beautiful plumage...
