Butterfly farm
The in laws took us to Stratford to the butterfly farm today. None of us knew what to expect but all came away pretty impressed! Basically a big series of greenhouses with forest like plants inside and an insane amount of butterflies and moths flying around! (As well as two iguanas, massive fish in the water, an area with caterpillars and cocoons, and another area with insects, spiders, tarantulas, ants etc.) Chose this blip, not the most pretty we saw - but was impressed how many big moths can feed off one banana!
Also had a very pleasant picnic beforehand, in the sun by the river opposite the Royal Shakespeare company theatre (just in front of the butterfly museum). Did think several times how amandoAlentejo would have enjoyed different parts of today!
