And so to Venice....

We arrived in Las Vegas early in the morning. I've never spent so much of a day speechless! It is the most bizarre, imaginative, over-whelming and fabulous place I have ever been.

Checked in to the Venetian, checked out our massive (bigger than our house) suite with its views of the Strip and 3 of the hotel's pools, got ourselves some breakfast then headed out into the searing desert heat.

Extreme heat, much needed air-con, the world's biggest chocolate fountain, Lucy in the sky with diamonds at the Bellagio fountains, shops, shops, shops, an indoor thunderstorm, collapsing at the pool totally exhausted at 3pm, dinner in St Mark's Square... Viva Las Vegas!!!
