Moo (New) residents
This afternoon I spent a few hours at Titchmarsh LNR. It has been a splendid afternoon, probably the best weather throughout the day, that we've had for months. A lot of the ground is still flooded at the Reserve, but kitted out with boots, coat (thin), hat and sunglasses I was equipped to tackle both the sun and surface water. Unusually, there weren't any appearances from Buzzards today, but there were plenty of dragonflies, damselflies, insects, flora and fauna. These ladies (and one bull) were a surprise, as I knew they were being brought in to keep the grass down, but this is the first time we've met. I think they are Dexters, but i didn't think to ask one of them!
For Emy.
