Red-wattled Lapwing Chick (Vanellus indicus)

The little Lapwing chick I posted l some days ago is filling out and getting stronger, just look at those little wings!( well more like little arms at this stage)Mum and Dad are good parents and stand some distance away so as not to attract attention to their chick but unless you see it first it is still so tiny and well camouflaged it is almost invisible. I will keep my eye on it as there are so many dangers in the Wadi and the Marsh Harrier is around.
