Playing Alone

We spotted this little boy on at least two days playing outside in the village. He had no playmates, but didn't seem bothered about being on his own.

But neither did he have any toys. I'd seen him throwing a ball and running after it outside the mosque. On this occasion, he had a small piece of wire which he was using to scratch the side of the building.

After I'd taken this photo and shown him, he flashed me the most brilliant smile.
