The Leicestershire Wolds.
As promised yesterday, another bike ride today (extra photo evidence!). How could I not take advantage of this lovely weather we're having. Plenty of other folks were out and about too on their bikes, mainly lycra clad and much faster than me. I just pootle on my mudguarded mount in my baggy shorts!
I went up onto the wolds, which are lovely and have just enough hillage to stretch you legs. Unfortunately Narrow Lane to Wymeswold from Six Hills was closed for a Race for Life so I had to use the B676 Melton Road down to Burton on the Wolds, which is busier and the cars don't half bat along on there so it wasn't the nicest part of the ride. Extra photo taken on Bandall's Lane, which cuts the corner off going to Cotes.
