Bamboozled
At request of Tobeon, a new photo!
Have been out a few times with the new camera but not many truly interesting shots to speak of at the moment. My dad has bought a nice opteka zoom lens (500mm :D ) for his new Nikon D60 that also fits my D3100. Its manual only though so got to get used to getting it focused and getting the correct shutter speed. And unfortunately the few shots I have taken with it, although looking fantastic on the cameras display, have ended out blurred when I view them on the PC. Practice needed.
About this photo, just a quick close up shot taken using my standard 55 to 80mm lens. It is a close up of the bamboo fence in my back garden, set the camera to monochrome so there is no colour version of this, just wanted to see how black and white images looked. Quite happy with this image, I think it shows a nice mix of texture on the different bamboo canes and the metal wire breaks up the image just right.
