Early start

A forecast of low cloud burning off is always an incentive to get out of bed. Rich and I were both up early as he was heading off to do a Fat Lads At The Back event.  It was beautiful heading over the Cow & Calf this morning but I wasn't sure what we'd find at Kettlewell. I thought perhaps a short-eared owl might be around even if the mist wasn't.  

Well, no short eared owl and there was no inversion in Kettlewell but the mist hanging in the valley over towards Leyburn looked beautiful.  We didn't go over any tops but enjoyed whiling away a few hours wandering around the back of the moors, eventually in shorts.
