Blimey,what a season. Odds of 5000/1 to win the Premiership and the team did it with 2 games to spare.
Yesterday was probably the best day ever in terms of football.
Certainly in the 14 years I've worked at the King Power (Walkers) stadium, there has never been a day like it and probably never will be.
Andrea Bocelli singing Nessun Dorma and Time to say goodbye, with a slight lyric change, a massive fireworks display with the trophy presentation, a free beer and slice of pizza for every fan.It was just insane.
The after match parties went on till 1.30 this morning culminated in yet another monumental pyrotechnics display. Leicester must have thought it was under siege, the noise was deafening (see my FB page)
Every member of staff either fulltime, casual or temp was given one of these lapel badges....a nice memento of the day and of the season.
Players awards night on Tuesday and then Chelsea next Sunday and that's it for another season.
