The goalpost was moved!

As part of the Devon coast to coast we are walking in stages, another couple and ourselves were not able to do the walk later in the month so we had originally decided to do it tomorrow. Looking at the weather forecast, we switched to today which was a lovely sunny day. Now there were two places to end this stage and I got agreement from both walk leaders that the ending would be at the Two Crosses car park, identified in the extra. It was a very pleasant short walk, I only made it 6.5 miles, along stretches of river and over prettier sections of Dartmoor. When we got home, there was a message on the answerphone from one of the walk leaders, you can go on to Widecombe-in-the-moor. He recceed the walk yesterday. Not terribly pleased as now we have a 1.5 mile gap to walk sometime, I don't want to miss a bit. It's not up the road, we drove about 80 miles today in total including taking the other couple back to their car which we left at the start of the walk.
