Clematis

This pretty clematis Montana is growing in my neighbour's garden.  The plant is growing over an old tree trunk and for a few weeks it is quite magnificent.  At the moment only the north facing side is in flower.  The only problem is the reach of the tendrils ..... they will stretch out, entwine round and choke anything in their path.  I found that out the hard way when one of my trees had to be removed.  It's not my neighbour's fault though .... the clematis was established years before B and his family moved in.
