On a mostly lovely sunny day here, seeing this one pop its head above the surface of the water of the pond was a great sight, as I haven't seen the frogs around for a while.

What really made me smile was when - seemingly upon seeing the camera it popped its head out of the water further - as if to say 'I hope you get my best side!' :-)

The frogspawn is still around, but I cannot tell whats happening to it anymore as it has shrunk a lot in size, and largely disappeared due to duckweed. Who knows, nature has surprised me before :-)
