Mother's day

A blissfully, sunny & peaceful day, where the teen made me lunch (chicken & bacon caesar salad) & dinner (spicy traybake chicken where he'd been forced to adapt a recipe due to the inability of our local German (not)supermarkets to stock things like curry leaves & mustard seeds) he even cobbled together strawberry ice cream when I 'suggested' he might like to go to the nearest garage and buy ice lollies...

Next Sunday wont be as relaxing what with it being the day of Little miss bossy's 15th birthday and the inlaws turn up for a week.
