Badger gate

A misty walk through a woodland in the pentlands with holly and owner and juno.

Home hens cleaned out, then tomatoes potted on.

Some crucial pants and socks shopping.

Watched eco daughter play football in the Scottish cup. They won in extra time.

Then to the bees , one needed a new floor. Once that was done checked a hive for a queen. Found her and watched bees hatch out. Then over to the hive I was worried about as it was not acting like the rest. I checked it yesterday for queen cells but did not see any. My observation was correct and we found queen cells and watched a queen hatch. Checked all combs and could not find queen, back together and action plan agreed for tomorrow lunchtime.
