Duck tales

As it turned out, this muscovy duck had been living on my neighbor's roof for a week when this morning she decided to move to my yard.  She wandered all over, then came to the back door and stayed around there.  She was very tame,  and we attempted to catch her to take to a nearby lake,  but with no success. But the miracle of neighborhood volunteers brought a lovely young couple our way, who captured her very gently and are they are taking her to a duck and animal sanctuary near by where there are other muscovy ducks and a shortage of females.  So we hope she'll live a good life out there, with a lake and others of her own kind.
