Aspendos

Today we visited Perge and Aspendos. The theatre at Aspendos, - theatre as in Greek plays and music, not a 'throwing Christians to the lions type theatre' - is stunning. It seats between 15 and 20,000 people depending how large they are! It is still used today and is largely intact. It is immense and quite awe inspiring and was built in 155BC... this picture is of the gallery at the top. The extra is the view down from the gallery... just Wow!!!
