Pride Goes Before A Fall

As the weather has improved I wore my new fabric sandals to church.

Afterwards, when halfway between the door and the car (a distance of 15 yards or so) one foot went sideways and I fell my length in the middle of the road, landing on my left hand. It started to swell so we went straight to A&E for an X-ray, fortunately there are no broken bones but it will be a da**ed nuisance for a few days.

At least I managed to use the camera!
