Tennis Ball Substitute

Pine cones often get washed up on our favourite stretch of beach in our home town. These make a good tennis ball substitute for Dandy - when younger he would carry around 6 or 7 in his mouth at once! They are balanced on top of a chunk of heavy firewood on my left hand whilst I took the picture with the right. Tired arms by the time I got home :-)
