Life through the lens...

Cherry Blossom Time

Another glorious day, but is this the last one for a while?
I hope not!

The cheery tree outside our bedroom window is at it's best, and so I couldn't resist taking a photo for today's blip.
Not easy though as it is a bit breezy today. Most of the shots were blurred.
( just noticed it was the 24th April when I blipped this last year)

Another month has flown by and it is our wine tasting evening again.
Well not actually wine this time.
We are having a sherry tasting at a Spanish Tapas Bar in Leeds, called Ambiente.
We will be tasting several different sherries, varying from a dry Fino and Manzanilla, through medium, to the luscious and sweet PX sherry.
Not a Harveys Bristol Cream in sight! Pity I used to like that!
Along side the sherries we are having tapas to match each style.
I must say we are looking forward to it.
Decided to go in to Leeds on the bus ( using bus pass) and share a taxi back with a couple of friends.
Certainly can't risk driving after a few of those.
I will let you know tomorrow how we get on.

Meanwhile hope you all enjoy the weather today.
