a Vital Spark

Snapped this pic in Inveraray while taking a short break on the drive up north. Not sure if this is the real deal, but this puffer certainly brings back many a fond memory for those who can remember the television comedy show of the 1960s. The program was based on a series of novels by Neil Munro ~ it features four hapless, and often drunk, seamen and their adventures on the Firth of Clyde. It presented gentle humour and made for classic viewing.
