1/8th, towards the valley from the top.

View from the Suie Hill (Pass) in Aberdeenshire, the foothills of the Grampians (iPhone). Taken while completing the first of 8 Highland road passes, (over, down the other side and back again) on my cycle. The challenge is to complete all 8, including the best, highest, hardest in Scotland, Applecross Brae (Beallach na Ba) on the West Coast. Completion by September (choosing the best weather, of course!) for sponsorship for a heart charity that Helen and I are involved in. Received so far: £500! The whole Challenge will involve 80 miles of uphill, some of 20% plus gradient. Really enjoyable stuff!
