Cooling Off

Even the garden birds found it rather warm today and these two cooled off in their own way:-)

I spent the lovely afternoon sitting in the car park of Perth Royal Infirmary while waiting for my husband to finish his appointment at the Audiology Department.  Worth it if I don't have to suffer any more "Eh?"  "What?" or "Pardons?"  

He was first fitted with hearing aids 6 years ago, but hated wearing them and rarely did, meaning his brain never adjusted to them.  Lately, his hearing difficulties have been the subject of many words between us, so he eventually decided to give it another try.  Hope he sticks with it this time.  I have every sympathy for those with hearing loss, but none at all for those who won't wear their (very discreet) hearing aids:-)
