Yellow Broom

In my garden the brooms is just beginning to flower. Lots of tight buds. I did have the red & yellow version but it collapsed a few years ago after heavy snow and this one is showing yellow. With a couple of fresh growths close by, I'm hoping the second plant may be a red & yellow.

Shopping for Mum today, lunch together then we sat outside in Mum's back-garden. It is sheltered from the wind and the sun was burny. Pansies are out in flower as well as the hebe beginning to bud and like my garden the dandelions are out in force for the bees and beasties to enjoy.
