If these walls could talk

We passed through the (very) small hamlet of Amulree on our drive back to Glasgow today and caught sight of this parish church. Built in the 1740s it seemed appropriate to shoot this in monochrome. This gave it a very eerie feeling, making me wonder what life must have been like so long ago in an area so stark and remote.
