96/365:: SUNNY REFLECTION •

There used to be a man who seemingly walked the streets of Windsor went I went to Theatre School. He wore a long coat, and a terrycloth towel knotted in four corners on his head, and carried an overstuffed briefcase jammed with newspapers. Perfectly normal guy in every other way, except he believed that if he wasn't wearing that towel on his head his brains would simply fall out.
Rumors were he was a philosophy professor at one time. We collectively and affectionately referred to him as 'Towel-head' then. That was not exclusively our group, anyone from the Tunnel BBQ to Ambassador Bridge who lived there, knew him as such.
I recall one encounter happily ending with him exalting "You'll never find a replacement for the Sun, Boys! You'll never find a replacement for the Sun!!!"
Moments like this I often wonder whatever happened to him. I hope he's still marching up and down Wyandotte with a smile.
