After an hour of organising myself, there was the disorganisation of the school run; followed by the a busy morning mostly in the blazing sunshine of Leith and Gorgie.

Then respite - inaugural lunch victim guest along the road; a very pleasant hour / catch up along the road - tasty soup and artisan bread and liquid cheese. And the promise of rhubarb theft, too...!

That fortified me for cycle to EH17 and then a meander around town before a chilled glass of white in the sunshine and dinner at hers (lamb / feta meatballs)

I think we have an outline plan for Spain; now to dot the 't's and cross the 'i's
