Rain at last...

This has been the longest dry spell since the measuring began in 1857.
We have had some showers but nothing to talk about, but at long last we got the rain we are used to - and that is good - the fields were drying up and the grass was turning brown...
This will go on for a few days now, but luckily it will be over when we go on our vacation next Thursday - to the east of the country.
