Red Bull Harbour Reach

Wow. What a day. This is quite simply the best event Lyme Regis has ever seen in my opinion. The inaugural year last year blew me away and this year was every bit as good.

I was lucky enough to have a press pass, where I had access to a boat that would take me anywhere I wanted to get the best shots. I took hundreds of frames but I think this was my favourite one. Ultimately it came from not being on the boat but on the part of the wall where only us special people in Red Bull bibs were allowed. I felt big time and like a professional photographer all night and I absolutely loved it!

To be able to get so close to photograph the worlds best wake boarders was unbelievable and gave me a massive buzz. I now have a huge thirst and determination to do more of this...

What a great start to Lifeboat week. As well as the wake boarders the Red Bull Matadors (air display planes) did a performance and in many peoples eyes stole the show. Not for me though, the wake boarders were the absolute nuts!
