Burgh Island at Bigbury on Sea

Isolated by the tide and served by a unique "Sea Taxi" that operates when the tide is in (see additional image of the Hotel)
This Hotel is famous for it's association and use as a setting by Agatha Christie in her novels

And as usual there were German Tour buses on the car park doing the "Agatha Christie" trail though no Japanese ones today, which is unusual.
Theres a take away cafe and toilets and a terrific beach with two bays, well worth a visit!
