Germany: along the sea wall

With turbines and geese by the thousand.

A sunny day and a walk along the marsh area beyond the sea wall with terns, oyster catchers, geese and a number of the beautiful grey wagtails, more in number than the pied variety. Wind turbines are very much a way of life from what we can see.

Later we drove over the border into Denmark and across the causeway onto Romo Island and camped on a site near mudflats. This must be a very busy area during the holiday time but very quiet today.
