My favourite strath....

has to be this one! Today it was hot, sunny with temperatures in the mid 20s. Luckily, there was a breeze.
Was not disappointed in the wildlife, plenty of Red Deer, very shaggy, still in winter coats,, Cuckoos, a flock of Golden Plover, Sandpipers, Wheatears and Meadow Pipits.
The coffee stop, above the loch, is called Coire na Grianan on the map and it lived up to its name, translated from the Gaelic is Sunny Valley. It was idyllic!
