Magical thinking

In 2012 I blipped the same four apples over 15 weeks from blossom to windfall. The crop was pretty good and kept us in frozen stewed apple for several months.
In 2013 I did a sequence of five blips and we had our largest ever crop: far, far more than we could manage.
In 2014 I didn't blip them at all and we had our smallest ever crop, a meagre five apples.
In 2015 I blipped them once and we had a few more than the previous year but nothing like enough for our use.
It's 2016. Expect many more apple tree blips.

For the record: The blossom was just starting two days ago and hard to see among the leaves. It has now taken over the tree.
