Bright yellow

Slightly damp today, but I managed to dodge the showers and arrived at work nice and dry, and made it home also in the dry, if you exclude the visit to the swimming pool.

Today's blip is a kind of bracket fungus growing out of an ornamental cherry tree in the village centre. I think it may be a Laetiporus sulphureus, but I'm no expert so I could easily be wrong. It's supposed to be edible when young and tastes a bit like chicken, hence one of it's common names is chicken-of-the-woods.
