Blossom

Not sure what sort of blossom this is - apple, maybe? When MrM and I were on the Common a couple of days ago, there were only tightly closed buds on this tree, and we debated what colour the flowers would be. Almost certainly red, we thought, as the buds were dark red. Wrong! After two days of sunshine, the flowers are opening - and they're white.

We had talked about going for a longer walk this evening but, somehow, both ran out of steam... And it's only Tuesday!
