Lambs
We travelled to the Norfolk/Suffolk border today to visit the opening day of the East Anglian Federation annual exhibition. The EAF, part of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain, is the parent organisation for photographic clubs in Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, large parts of Hertfordshire and also spreading into Cambridgeshire and North London. It covers a very large geographical area.
The exhibition is always worth a visit, showing the very best photography from clubs within the federation. I only had one image accepted this year, but the overall standard is extremely high.
Because it is a fair distance from home, we made a weekend of it (as we have in previous years) and booked bed and breakfast accommodation nearby on a farm. During the afternoon, the lady of the house was bottle feeding two lambs who had been rejected by their mother. The sucking power of those lambs, and the speed at which they drank the milk, was quite astonishing.
Fabulous weather all day.
