A very hot day, so I went to find refuge in one of the airconditioned shopping malls downtown. This one, Les cours Mont-Royal, is in a grand old building, and this is the first time I noticed the huge skylight.

Three bird-man sculptures are suspended above the oblivious shoppers - they are very similar to the native art I saw at Vancouver Airport last spring.
