Damp paper dye powder
An explosion of colour
Delights the senses

I don't hear the word psychedelic used very often.  It was what came to mind when the children created these background papers.  They dropped orange and burgundy dye powder onto damp paper and watched the exploding colours.  When they are dry we will use them as the background for an autumn collage picture.  It was a damp, grey day but you wouldn't know it looking at the clothes she was wearing.
