Today was Mr M's birthday.

We went out for tea and then home for cake. The girls were ever so sweet, but had loaded up on birthday cake before dinner.

My bad, we'd gone to wish our neighbours' children a happy birthday too. Needless to say, their tea went pretty much uneaten, though they miraculously found room for daddy's birthday cake once we got home. Double cake rations! They were well pleased with themselves :)

Glorious few sunny days. I hope this doesn't end up being our summer. Sometimes a run of three sunny days in May is all we get :)
