The wheel

Last day at Bonnybridge today and still no sightings!. We headed up for a look at the Falkirk wheel as Roz's mum had never seen it. It's not the first time I've blipped it.

We headed home for about tea time and had a fairly quiet evening. The highlight of the evening was on BBC2 at 10 pm. Garry, who was amongst the very first students I had when I started at Telford on a prep for design and media course, finished his HND Film and TV course a few years back (some of you might remember me posting his final HND short a while ago). Since then he's been working hard on shorts and pitches trying to get a break.

A while ago the BBC gave him that break and tonight BBC2 showed his hour long documentary about his life growing up between Muirhouse and the care system. Garry wrote, directed and featured in it and the finished documentary was incredibly moving stuff. If you missed it, it should be up on iPlayer soon, I think it might be Scotland only though. It's well worth a watch if you can access it.
