Green Bee-eater(Merops orientalis)

I took a photograph of a Bee-eater the other day, but its feathers were so faded and in such poor condition I couldn't show anyone, I'm sure it was the female Bee-eater with a very demanding new family, so she is too busy to look after herself. As to this one I think it is a member of the same family, but not a fledgling as it has very short streamers, it is very bright in comparison and I think it is even getting new colourful feathers. Most of the Bee-eaters are looking very faded and scrappy at the moment so it is great to see one with some fabulous colour.
