Derelict Boat

I often paddle board or kayak by this old, derelict boat and just as often pause to take a photograph or two. That as never, until today, taken place on a Sunday - a derelict Sunday. It seems like the perfect subject for such a proposition, it has been in the bay for at least a year and has lost its mast, most of the glass in the portholes and any kind of finish on its wooden surfaces. I fully expect to find it at the bottom of the bay some day soon, but until that time it will continue to attract the attention of my underwater camera as I paddle by.


Our normally reliably internet is undergoing "a system upgrade" at our end of the beach. So far that has meant that we only have service between midnight and about 7:45am. Makes it tough to post things, or go through the regular routines, when there is no connection to the bigger world.
