Our Babies

Red Fish Jr. and Blue Fish Jr. have both been acting rather displeased with us lately. I think they may be feeling neglected because we had been so busy over Thanksgiving the past week that, aside from getting fed, they really haven't received much attention from Clayton and I. I cleaned their bowls and refilled them because they had been living in half-empty bowls of murky water since we left school for Thanksgiving and had to take some of the water out to keep the bowls from spilling in the car, yet they still seem less than impressed.

In the process of taking this picture, Red Fish Jr. would not sit still for the camera, but he was perfectly calm beforehand. I wanted him to flare his gills at the camera for emphasis, but instead all I got was this snooty, nose-in-the-air attitude. I think they miss being the center of attention...
