Blast Beach, Seaham

This beach featured in a prison planet scene in 'Alien 3' . The sand is mostly black and the rocks are orange. This is because the spoil from the colliery and the blast furnaces making pig iron have coloured the rocks and sand. It is very other worldly. My cousin Danksound is visiting so her picture will be the Blast Beach too.
