Spider

This little chap has made a web outside one of our bedroom windows. He's only about half a centimetre long so I used my macro tubes to get a decent shot. I was amazed how much detail I could see of him through the camera including two tiny little hooked jaws that seemed to be working independently. Sadly it was rather more difficult to capture that detail in a shot as It was too awkward a spot to use the tripod and I was having to use manual focus. Another busy day so it was this or one of the flowers in a rather wet garden but W reckoned this was the better shot despite her fear of spiders.
