Out of the attic.

Rain overnight, fine morning then more rain helped us make the decision to go out for lunch to the Art Gallery at Llanbedrog

Too wet to go onto the beach or up the hundreds of steps for the coastal walk so we spent extra time looking in the gallery.

A fabulous collection was on show featuring the works of John Cyrlas Williams. 150 of his paintings were discovered in 2009 in the attic of his former home in Porthcawl. I think this is the first time so many of his paintings have been shown together and some were for sale. I couldn't afford to buy one.
The one l've blipped was my favourite and called Promenade, probably painted around 1927. John died in 1965.
