Up and up... and a rescue

A lovely cycle zigzagging up the sides of valleys in north-east Corsica passing interesting rock formations and many different flowers of the maquis; the weather then turned dull and cloudy and the road very long, and as we eventually reached the top of the Col the heavens opened and the lightening and thunder started... at that very moment we saw the support vehicle and clambered aboard!
