The Great Hospital, Norwich
Built in 1249 it is the only English medieval hospital whose archives and fabric survived the Dissolution of the Monasteries.
So at lunchtime, I grabbed half an hour and wandered down here to the Great Hospital, which is located behind the cathedral. I did a circuit, passing the peregrines nesting on the cathedral spire. All four eggs have hatched. That's 4 more than I had. My remaining eggs were discarded today. I will get some more, but I will put them straight in the incubator next time!
A busy day as usual, I didn't get away until gone 5. Once home, I fed my starving hens as Jon had bought some layers pellets for me. After dinner, we sat down to complete Jon's tax return. Then I paid the balance of our holiday. So some big boxes ticked, things crossed off my list, jobs done..however you want to look at it.
Now to bed. My head has ached all day, so I am going to investigate getting my eyes tested. I'm sure I need new glasses!
