Hobson's Choice

Been pursuing a bit of an obsession recently with Hobson's brewery in Cleobury Mortimer. On my birthday weekend we helped ourselves to a few rounds of their award-winning mild (and while we were consuming them, also established that the West Midlands is one of very few places on Earth where you'll see a bloke walk into the pub, and with astonishing dignity and panache, announce to the landlord: "I'll have eighteen pints of mild, mate." And he'll actually get served them.)

Happily, my local outpost of consumerist evil is currently stocking Hobson's 3.6% golden ale Twisted Spire at a reasonable price. When the sun finally comes out, there's nothing better.
